Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Army as JCO & Soldier 2022

To join Pakistan Army, candidate should qualify the following eligibility criteria. The complete information regarding education, height and age is given below for each post. Keep in mind that for all the following posts age limit is 22-35 years for Junior Commission Officer (JCO) & 17½ to 23 for Soldier (as on 01^st October 2022).

1. Junior Commissioned Officer JCO (Naib Khateeb)

• Qualification: Dars-e-Nizami + FA/FSc
• Age Limit: 20 to 28 years as on October 01, 2022 (The age limit for candidates already in Army service is 22 to 35 years and their service should be between 1 to 16 years)
• Minimum Height: 5 ft 3 inches

2. Soldier (Sipahi)

• Qualification: Matric or Equivalent
• Age Limit: 17½ to 23 years as on October 01, 2022
• Minimum Height: 5 ft 6 inches

3. Military Police

• Qualification: Matric or Equivalent
• Age Limit: 17½ to 23 years as on October 01, 2022
• Minimum Height: 5 ft 8 inches

4. Clerk

• Qualification: Intermediate or Higher
• Age Limit: 17½ to 23 years as on October 01, 2022
• Minimum Height: 5 ft 3 inches

5. Cook

• Qualification: Middle or Higher
• Age Limit: 17½ to 23 years as on October 01, 2022
• Minimum Height: 5 ft 3 inches

6. Sweeper/Sanitary Worker

• Qualification: Literate or Primary
• Age Limit: 17 to 35 years as on October 01, 2022
